RASHEED SULIMAN is one of the BEST GUARDS in the COUNTRY!!!!
It's one thing to be one of the best on paper due to marketing and politics, but its another to be put in line of fire and come out a BIG GUN:

1) REEBOK HEADLINER CAMP 3 weeks ago he gets selected as one of the top guards in camp and invited to the PRESTIGIOUS UNDERCLASSMAN BREAKOUT CAMP June 19-21 in Dallas.

2) OSU clearly wants to recruit him as a combo guard in the 2012 class after being one of the top guards overall in their Elite Camp.

3) A&M clearly wants to recruit him as a combo guard in the 2012 class after being one of the top guards overall in their Elite Camp.

SO LET THE CONTROVERSY BEGIN, RASHEED SULIMAN IS ONE OF THE GUARDS IN HOUSTON, IN THE STATE and IN THE COUNTRY...........

Oklahoma State Cowboys offer Jason Carter scholarship!
Jason Carter has emerged as one of the states top power forwards after a solid spring with Franchize. Carter is big and strong with good footwork. One of the top shooting 6"8 or bigger players in the state. He can rebound, run the floor and play pressure defense. Looks like the Big 12 is getting a head start recruiting with A&M, Missouri and Baylor also having him on their radar..........

Recruiting is no game
There are many people who think they understand the very difficult process of recruiting. This is the most paramount discussion that surrounds every summer basketball event in the country during this time of year. Well let me give you my take on the process. Here are few ways to put your child in a position to get recruited and hopefully receive a precious college free pass.
First of all, the first step of this process is to find a credible trainer to teach your kids how to play the game. Often times parents don't want to invest in their child's future. Note, they don't just give scholarships to anybody and only a select few will be fortunate enough to have that experience. So why do parents and kids continue to make the same mistakes...Disneyland, Fantasyland and not choosing to focus on reality. Recruiting is a numbers game and the competition is so vast that there will always be more losers than winners. Secondly, be realistic about your child's abilities. There is nothing more frustrating than to see a disgruntled parent whose child is just an average player but thinks he is a premier player. Save yourself some anguish and focus on his talents that lend themselves to him possibly receiving an opportunity to further his studies or matriculate into the real world. Stop allowing Madison Avenue techniques and ESPN images to dictate the way you raise your child. Now, Im certainly not saying to squash your child's aspirations but an occasional serving of humble pie always needs to be on the menu for both parties involved. Lastly, surround your child with people who can actually help your child achieve his goals instead of doing whats easiest, free, or comfortable. This is usually the first and most incorrect step in the development of your budding superstar. Everybody is not coach, trainer, etc. Do some research and find out what is best for your child to learn from the best possible teachers. Great students come from great teachers, good students come from good teachers, and keep going down...you'll get the point.
